The hotel is beautifully decorated, handy for the main plaza, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. My only issue was the street lights at night, which I couldn’t block out. I like sleeping in a really dark room.

It’s a small, family-run hotel near the center. The owner was very nice and helpful.

We loved the comfortable bed, clean room, great shower, and delicious eggs at breakfast. The hotel is quiet and well placed for the center, and the bus station is an eight-minute walk away. Everyone was very hospitable, and we liked the art on the walls. Shame we couldn’t take it home to England! Highly recommend this place.

Room 3, our king-bed room on the hotel corner, was a dream. It was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and a balcony view that felt both peaceful and astounding. There was a little table with two chairs and a candle, just right for a romantic glass of wine, and we brought a bottle along and enjoyed it there. We’re heavy sleepers, so we didn’t hear any of the noise other guests mentioned. Breakfast was perfect, with three choices, generous portions, and fruit served in the style of big hotels. You can see the hotelier experience in how Doña Otilia and her daughter run the place with quality management. We’d definitely come back!

We changed our plans and stayed an extra night because the hotel was so amazing. The staff were great, breakfast was good, and the rooms were super comfortable and clean. With over 200 reviews and still five stars, I’m not surprised.
