Hotel Campestre La Potra

The rooms and food were top quality, and the staff were lovely and attentive. Amazing place.

The staff made our stay peaceful and pleasant, and the facilities were kept clean. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of choices: fruit, tamales, eggs, broth, cereal, juice, and hot drinks. One of the pools could use some work, probably because of its age, but that didn't take away from how enjoyable the place was.

Breakfast comes with the room and is a fantastic buffet, with great table service. The restaurant menu has a good range, and the prices are reasonable, around average. They also offer activities connected with the ranch, including an equestrian center with lots of beautiful horses. The pools are maintained daily. La Potra is a lovely place to spend a few days resting. The rustic design feels spacious and airy, and the location is excellent and very safe. Staff are warm and provide excellent service, and cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms have good equipment, though some guest amenities could use maintenance and modernization.

We had a great horseback riding trip right on the property, and the hotel was decorated beautifully for Halloween. The food at both breakfast and lunch was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's a comfortable, lovely place to rest, with several roomy areas and two pools. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bathroom and some furniture are a little dated and worn, but nothing serious.
