We stopped by this small town park before dinner. There isn’t much room to play around, but the statues and murals were neat. If you’re here, stop for some photos and then head on to dinner.

There’s plenty of seating on benches and in the grass, and the gorgeous flowers leave the air smelling floral. What a beautiful park in the heart of La Fortuna. Absolutely stunning!

The municipality keeps this small park in beautiful condition. Several stores surround it, and there’s private parking nearby. It’s hard not to fall in love with this province.

A local tico showed us around and told us the history of Juan Santamaria. The small park has some canons and a statue of him. It could be a very nice spot, except there was a lot of trash left on the ground.
