We came down to tablitas from vista elite, where we were staying up the mountain, to eat twice because we liked it so much. The Casado con pollo may be the best we've had so far on our honeymoon. Our waitress was so kind and brought us a delicious mango dessert without us even asking. Definitely worth stopping if you're nearby. Just plan ahead, they only accepted colones, not USD. And wow, vista elite is a great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere.

We ate here three times during our Costa Rica trip. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. During a huge rainstorm, they even delivered food up the hill to where we were staying.

We came to Restaurante Las Tablitas for breakfast, though we weren’t staying at the hotel, and were welcomed by such kind people. The meal was fresh and beautifully presented, and the place looked spotless and very well cared for. My kids loved their steak y pintos, while my husband’s Tablitas breakfast came with delicious sides. Great service, tasty food, and surprisingly reasonable prices. We’d happily eat here again.

Las Tablitas was a regular stop for our family while we stayed nearby at the incredible Vista Elite. It’s a warm, kid-friendly place, and every visit brought friendly service and food that impressed us. We’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the area. Thanks for everything! We had a lovely meal here, and the prices were great. There was nobody else in the restaurant, which made it feel just right. I’d recommend it for a really nice meal.
