We planned to stay just one night before moving to another Airbnb, but liked the lodge so much that we paid for a second night even though we were still paying for both places. The grounds are gorgeous, and the newly remodeled lodge has clean, luxurious rooms. The pool, hot tubs, and cabanas fit beautifully into the surroundings. Everyone welcomed us warmly and was helpful, after mixed experiences at Airbnbs. We even returned before leaving the country just to see the place again and say goodbye to the staff. We highly recommend Blue Jungle Lodge if you’re near Arenal.

The garden and pool are glorious, and there’s lots to do nearby. Blue Lodge is a gorgeous home with huge rooms, incredibly comfortable beds, and lovely en-suite bathrooms. Heather and Chris have thought through every detail and done a wonderful job. I couldn’t recommend it more, and I’ll definitely return whenever I can.

The rooms and shared areas are really nice, with a pool and hot tubs too. Everything was extremely clean, the service was great, and the atmosphere was friendly.

Heather and Chris, the owners of Blue Jungle Lodge, will help you get what you need, whether you’re there for a holiday, a conference, or a yoga retreat. The lodge is beautiful, with roomy, lavish bedrooms, king-sized beds, a pool, hot tub, and a nice patio. They also serve chef-made dinners. It’s close to Lake Arenal and the Arenal volcano, and you can get to area facilities by car or tour bus. Tell Heather and Chris that Steve S sent you.
