The owner was so friendly, and we really liked the trail they'd built. It's a wonderful spot, very eco-minded, with great food and lots of birds to watch.

I keep thinking about mornings there, hearing the birds and seeing clouds cling to Miravalles in the distance. The owner and staff were kind and patient, too. One of the most spectacular places I've stayed, and I can't wait to return.

We're young adult Canadians and had such a good time here. The rooms were cool and comfortable, with amazing views, and the food was tasty and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a distinctive place to stay for a few days or use as a base. Not the typical option, which is what we like. I'd recommend it to friends coming to Costa Rica, and we'll be back.

We were glad to see the resident red-eyed frogs, and could watch wild birds feeding at the platform from the dining hall. The surprise breakfast was a treat, especially the warm, crusty homemade bread. Francisco welcomed us so warmly, and the kitchen gals deserve thanks for our meals. The lodge's responsible tourism practices and lush setting give it a green feel. The view might have been spectacular, but the weather wasn't good.

Joel and his staff were friendly and so helpful, and the lodge had a peaceful atmosphere that let us relax right away. We spent two nights there while touring Costa Rica. The rooms are simple in a lovely way and have what you need. The food was a real gastronomic delight. Highly recommend visiting.
