The views were incredible, the pool felt so refreshing, and the food was delicious with yummy drinks too. Ronnie is a fantastic bartender and knows a lot about Costa Rican history.

We came for an early dinner and caught a beautiful sunset over those spectacular views. The restaurant feels open and spacious, and the food was good quality, filling, and served with amazing service. We also enjoyed the cocktails. I'd definitely recommend it! 🇨🇷🏝️❤️💙

We didn't see the rooms, but the lodge's bar has great views, and the pool area is lovely with very friendly service. We had a good cocktail, beer, and yummy fries. Getting there from Matapalo means taking a partly unpaved road, but it was worth the drive.

The hotel has amazing views, with beautiful flowers and plants all around, and the shared pool was very clean. The grounds were well maintained, and the staff were kind and friendly. Thanks to Steven and Maryuri for looking after us. We ate at the hotel restaurant, and the food tasted like authentic Costa Rican cooking. We only needed a place for one night, but I wish we'd stayed longer. After a last-minute change, they upgraded us from a room to a larger place with a kitchen, two rooms, and two bathrooms. We especially enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature at night. The beach is about a five-minute drive away, or a 10-15 minute walk. There's an unpaved, dusty road nearby, so we were advised to drive.

We only stopped for a couple of beers, without staying or eating, and I was astonished by the beautiful property and absolutely stunning views. The service was amazing. We'll visit the condor Lodge next time we're in Costa Rica for sure!
