The location made getting around easy, and the staff were genuinely helpful. They brought extra towels, repaired our shower head, and carried a mini fridge to our room. We felt safe in the center of town, close to shops, bakeries, restaurants, and the beach. The property itself was in rough shape, with damaged fixtures, dirty walls, and plenty of wear. We stayed six nights with our family hoping for a beachside hotel with a pool, but the photos gave us the wrong impression. The pool shown online no longer exists. There was another pool about a 10-minute walk away, but it seemed to be under maintenance, so we didn't use it. Breakfast was across the street and had very few options. If we'd known the actual condition and that the pool wasn't onsite, we would have paid a little more to stay somewhere nicer. I hope management updates the listing so guests know what to expect.

We left without staying. The room was filthy, with a broken toilet seat and ants in the sink and climbing the wall. It looked nothing like the booking photos. They said they would refund us, then refused to return our money. I can't believe Amex recommended this place. It doesn't seem like a reputable business at all.

The street is really busy, and I didn't find Coco Beach very pretty. Playa Hermosa is much nicer. The hotel felt worn out and had no charm, the pool was nowhere to be found, and breakfast was very basic. I wouldn't come back.

There wasn't a pool, even though one appears in the pictures. At reception, they didn't seem to understand what I meant by “reservation.” The room had no shelves or shower head, and to flush the toilet I had to take off the lid. Nobody from housekeeping even asked whether I wanted the room cleaned. Take your money somewhere else.

The room was made up regularly, and there's a small store at the front if you need something. Breakfast was delicious, like a home-cooked meal, and the freshly brewed coffee really hit the spot.
