The proprietor was friendly, and the A/C in the bedroom worked well. We may have been the first real guests, though. As we arrived at our unit, a woman ran over with toilet paper and "fresh" linen, hopefully fresh. The bathroom was open to the outside, with bugs on the floor and ceiling. At least the toilet was clean in terms of human waste. The towels looked kind of gross, and a German shepherd slept on our porch all night, though he was friendly. The lodge's outlets were up on the ceiling, which wasn't very useful. It wasn't a bad place exactly, and it wasn't expensive, but you get what you pay for. There are definitely more comfortable options in the area.

Erickson and the staff were really kind and helpful. The wooden cabin was beautiful, with its own bathroom and a private terrace looking out over the jungle. It was peaceful, away from the tourist bustle, but still very close to Bahia Darke. There’s a shared kitchen for cooking too. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful, very clean cabin in peaceful surroundings, with a chance to spot animals. A fantastic place to feel connected to nature in the jungle while still being comfortable. Erickson and his family were also very friendly and helpful.

The location is a bit far from Drake Bay, though you can get there on foot in under an hour. Even so, this was one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. The host family were so kind and helpful, truly something special. The cabins were spacious and clean, with lovely balconies overlooking the jungle, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped.
