We saw whales from the deck on most mornings while having the homemade breakfast. The location is unbeatable for this region, though I’d suggest renting a car to get around. We spent 5 nights at Marks hotel, and both the rooms and grounds were very clean. 10/10, would recommend and stay again.

Our participants left feeling renewed and inspired. The staff handled everything thoughtfully and were professional and attentive, from the rooms to the catering. As a retreat leader, I found Pura Vista Costa Rica peaceful, with beautiful natural views that made it a great setting for our retreat. I’d choose it for a quiet retreat or a future event.

Mark was a great host and gave us tips on restaurants and things to do nearby. We had a wonderful three nights at Pura Vista Hotel. The bay of Playa Ocotal looked amazing from the pool, and the view overall was incredible. Our room was clean and comfortable. Ana and Kimberlin made a delicious breakfast and gave excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back if we travel to Costa Rica again.

The outdoor area overlooking the ocean was beautiful, and Mark was an incredible host. The room was comfortable for three adults. Such a beautiful hotel and setting, I’ll be recommending it to friends.
