The grounds at La Sirena are lush, and the lights around the pool and patio make the place look beautiful at night. Our room was very clean, and the staff were attentive without hovering. Mike and Lilian were incredibly generous and kind, and made us feel like family. Their suggestions for activities and places to eat really helped make our trip. We got much more than we paid for, and haven't found service like theirs anywhere else. We'll definitely return.

Playa Mantas and Playa Herradura are much nicer beaches nearby, in my opinion, but that has nothing to do with La Sirena. The hotel is right by the ocean on South Beach, away from the noise, crowds, and hawkers in the main part of Playa Jaco. I spent four nights there just before the holiday season. The pool was nice, my room was spotless and comfortable, and the beach-themed decor somehow still felt serene. Uriel and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. I'd recommend staying here.

La Sirena Playa Jacó felt like a home away from home for our family and our group of 25. The staff welcomed everyone so warmly and went out of their way to make the stay special. We were greeted in our rooms with flowers made from toilet paper and little animals fashioned from towels and blankets. Breakfast each morning was delicious and satisfying. We had great meals there, especially the chicken and rice at lunch or dinner. After some friends came back from sport fishing with five tuna, the chef made tuna steaks, tartare, and poke that were the best I've ever had, followed the next day by equally wonderful tuna sandwiches. Staff recommendations for excursions and local restaurants led us to some of our best adventures and meals. Mike & Lilly are incredible people, and Lilly is my favorite ❤️ We also had a Wedding Happy Hour there on Friday, and they absolutely nailed the party. The decorations were stunning, and one guest said, "I want to live here!" Between the owners, management, and staff, the whole place made our wedding feel special. I can't wait to return. All the stars and love for La Sirena Playa Jacó. 🌟❤️

The beach was so close, and we also made good use of the pool and bar at the hotel, with plenty of lounge chairs and recliners for sunbathing. I spent an amazing week there with a bunch of friends, and the whole group had a great stay. Mike and Lilly were friendly, helpful, and knew a lot about the surrounding area. Definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Jaco. I'll be back next year!
