The outside didn't give us the best first impression, but once we were through the gate, it was beautiful. Our car had broken down, so we arrived late, after 10 pm. The man who welcomed us was so kind, and the room was comfortable. I slept really well.

After seven hours stuck in traffic because of the landslides on Ruta 34, we were lucky to reach Havana Jaco and find a suite for the night. The street and secured parking area felt scary at first, but inside the gate, our host Jorge was lovely, and the accommodations looked newly finished. The room was clean, though it had no coffee maker, cups, or glasses. The bar and restaurant weren't ready yet, but we had a pleasant stay and heard no traffic noise.

We booked the all-inclusive package for a 15-man bachelor party, which meant nobody had to cook for the group. Everyone had their own bedroom, and the staff and service were great. The property is huge and in a handy spot, just four blocks from Cocal Casino and downtown Jaco, so we walked into town each night and had a blast.

The bar and pool are just right, and the place is nicely kept. This feels like a hidden oasis, far enough from town and the beach to be peaceful without being too far away.
