We didn’t stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant, and it was really disappointing. My eggs over light came out hard, and everything had too much salt. The orange juice wasn’t real, just sugary “tang” water. Seriously, no good orange juice in Costa Rica? We won’t be back. Have breakfast somewhere else.

There are two large fish in an incredibly small tank, with barely any room to move. It’s horrible to use them as decoration in such bad conditions.

For $55 a nite, it was ok, though I only stayed one night. There was no hot water, and I had a cockroach for a roomate. As an experienced 3rd world traveler, I wasn't surprised. The good things were the TV, AC, pool, and location in town.

The rooms don’t feel very private because a large window is right by the bed, and the curtain doesn’t cover much. The place looks a little outdated, with old door locks and a bathroom that was a bit dirty. It’s good otherwise.

For the price, I expected more. The room was dirty, there were a few roaches for roommates, and the mattress was the worst in the country.
