Hotel Perico Azul

My best friend and I had such a fun stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and everyone on staff was super friendly. We wanted to extend our stay in Jacó on checkout day, but the manager saw everything was booked. He arranged for us to use the large penthouse apartment without charging extra. That kind of hospitality is hard to find. I can’t wait to visit CR again, and I’ll stay at Perico Azul whenever I’m in Jacó. 10/10, recommend!

Connie was kind and helpful, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. It’s in a quiet spot within walking distance of the beach. If you’re looking for an affordable, peaceful place in Jaco, I’d definitely recommend it. They also rent beach bikes for 15.00 a day.

This hotel and the kindness I got there really restored my faith in people. I’d been at another hotel in the Centro the night before, where the bar music just wouldn’t stop, so I called here around midnight. Manrique answered and agreed to come by and get me a room. When he found out I’d already paid the other hotel, he even gave me a nice discount. That’s the Pura Vida spirit that makes this country so special. The hotel itself is impeccably clean. I haven’t seen cleaner linens, and everything else, including the internet, was great. I’m thinking of spending a month here when I come back later this year. Pura Vida! Merci!

We needed to leave our previous place, and Celine kindly took us in right away. The courtyard and pool are really cute, and the shared spaces are very clean. Our room was comfortable, with air conditioning, a fan, and a fridge, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hotel is quiet, has great Wi-Fi, and is five minutes by car from downtown and a five-minute walk from the beach. I highly recommend it for people like us who work remotely while traveling.
