The gardens are full of life, with lush plants, birds, iguanas, and other wildlife. From there, a private gate gives easy access to the beach, about 100 yards away. There’s also a nice pool in the courtyard. Hotel Tropical Garden sits between Jacó’s main strip and the beach, which was a perfect spot for us. The rooms have been fully renovated and feel fresh, clean, and carefully put together. The staff were welcoming, pleasant, and very accommodating. If we come back to Jacó, we’ll stay here again.

The little apartment was relaxing, and the grounds are lovely, with a nice pool, plenty of iguanas and birds, and easy parking. You can walk to the beach, restaurants, and massages. I’d stay here again. The place was mostly quiet, except for very loud fireworks at midnight and 2:30 a.m. on Saturday. I’d give it five stars, but only one stove burner worked, which matters if you’re trying to save money by cooking a couple of meals. The toilet flushed slowly, then clogged completely by the second day. The weak plunger couldn’t clear it.
