The room was spacious but worn down. There wasn’t anything in the unit for food or drinks, apart from vending machines. The pool, though, was gorgeous and warm.

My son was traveling through your town when he was robbed today. He lost all his belongings and was distressed because he no longer felt safe in the neighborhood. He needed somewhere to eat and try to contact the Belgian embassy. I advised him to drive to a four-star hotel, have a drink in the lobby, get something to eat, and rest while trying to reach the embassy. Your guard refused to let him drive up because he wasn’t a guest and sent him away. I hope your hotel encounters karma in the future.

We loved staying here on our Jaco vacation. The pool was great, and we spent time there every day. It was quiet since it wasn’t right in the city, and scarlet macaws live in the wooded area near the condos. We saw them daily. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the beach is very close and easy to reach. We didn’t go out too late at night, but it felt very safe. I’d definitely recommend this condo to anyone traveling here.

We spent a week with cold water and had to keep pushing just to get anyone to respond. When the water was shut off without warning, it came back without hot water. We reported it several times, but getting an email address took real convincing since administration said it wasn't their responsibility. On the few occasions someone replied, they promised to look into it and nothing changed. The AC also leaked, and the window wouldn't close properly, with nobody seeming to care. The apartment itself was beautiful, though, with a lovely view, and I really appreciated having a washer and dryer. The pool and the rest of the property were beautiful too. This wasn't what we paid for. If I wanted cold showers, I would've booked somewhere cheaper.
