I stayed years ago, so things may have changed, but I wouldn't put my dog in one of those rooms again. The room looked nothing like the photo, and there was a hole in the shower wall you could see outdoors through. Staff were rude, and the so-called breakfast was set up outside with bugs crawling over everything. Never again.

Lindo lugar, tranquilo, buena aire, piscina, segura. lo me encantó. I got bumped up to a larger room right away, and the quiet, secure property at the end of a dead-end street made a good impression. There’s plenty of greenery around the rooms and pool for shade. My room was clean, the AC worked, and the shower had warm water. TV options were very limited, with nothing in English. I left before breakfast, so can't comment on that. For the price, I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Jaco.

The only real hassle was getting to the bus stop when it was time to leave. I could have taken a cab, I suppose. Otherwise, this was a safe, clean place with tidy, nicely arranged rooms and very friendly staff, including the dog and cat. Being a little way from downtown made the pool area peaceful. The neighbors' rooster or two might wake you up, haha. A hidden gem, and I highly recommend it.

The pool was great, but it's a long way from the beach and the place was anything but quiet. Thin walls meant I heard dogs and cats barking all night. Our room didn't look like the photo and had mold, cracks, and ants. Someone left a plate of food outside our door, and the remains were still there the next morning. The front desk woman turned on my phone's roaming so I could get wifi, which immediately cost me a charge from my phone company. It's pet friendly, too.

A decent bargain, especially if you like having a pool without kids screaming around it, since the place is adults only. Breakfast was hearty and tasty. Our room was the smallest of the ones we had in Costa Rica, though the modern-looking cabins by the pool seemed roomier. The huge, firm pillows gave me a kinked neck. Staff were thorough, but came across as if they didn't trust guests, and smiling didn't seem to come easily. Maybe it was just an off day.
