We couldn't find clear details about the accommodations. Rustic Lodge doesn't have a website, so we relied on Google or Booking, which said the cabins had air conditioning and WiFi. The cabin we were given had neither, so we decided to stay somewhere else that night. The staff were wonderful and the location is gorgeous, but it didn't suit our needs. We were refunded for one of the two nights we reserved, which we understand. It would be great to have much clearer information about the rooms and types of lodging. The location is stunning, and the cabins are charming and beautifully constructed.

A magical place, with a cozy, clean cabin in the rainforest. Guapo the horse who lives on site was my favorite part. It's about five minutes outside the main town, which is super convenient. Can't wait to visit again.

The cabin was tiny and moldy, with barely enough room to open my suitcase. Staff were unfriendly, the internet didn't work, and the trail wasn't great. The one good thing was the small balcony, with trees just outside. Don't stay here.

We totally enjoyed our time at The Rustic Lodge. It's a cozy, quiet place in the middle of the jungle, not far from downtown La Fortuna. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and cozy, with air conditioning and wifi. Breakfast was made fresh on the spot and absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Costa Rica.

Jessie made me feel comfortable right away when I arrived without a reservation. She was so welcoming and offered me a beautiful villa/room at a very reasonable price. Angie, the owner, was also very sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. There’s a trail on the property, so I joined the night tour and saw different types of frogs and insects. The place is away from noise but still a good distance from downtown La Fortuna. I highly recommend it, especially for Jessie's welcoming service and demeanor.
