The farm is gorgeous, and the cocoa was fascinating. I hadn’t realized it was such a delicious fruit! We stopped for breakfast before they were really open, but they still made us a delicious meal. Then Natasha showed us around. We got to nerd out about plants and fruits, their medicinal uses, sustainable farming, and ecology in Costa Rica. One of the coolest things we did in CR. Big thanks to Natasha for taking the time and sharing her enthusiasm!

I had no idea there were honeybees that don’t sting. The farm was beautiful and very well maintained, and the tour covered beekeeping, coffee roasting, and chocolate-making in a really engaging way. Our guide Jhonny was kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about conservation. What an incredible educational experience.

We had a lovely farm-to-table lunch by the lake, with recycled furniture and wonderful hospitality from Don Juan and the staff. The food was delicious. My favorite was the yuca, eggplant, 🍠, papaya root with potatoes, even though it was my first time trying it. The pineapple and carrot dressing is also a must try. I enjoyed everything else, too. Thank you, Don Juan and team, for a lovely experience.

We got to feed the animals and juice sugarcane, which was delicious. The restaurant also gave us sugarcane candies and fruit grown on the farm. During the tour we saw and tried lots of plants and fruit, including peppers, cacao, herbs, and more. Our guide was enthusiastic and answered all our questions. A great experience, and I’d recommend it to families!
