Hotel La Vid

The only downside was how much outside noise came through due to the poor soundproofing. Aside from that, I had a great stay at Hotel La Vid. The rooms were cozy and clean, with hot water, and the location was central. Staff were very friendly, and both the included breakfast and welcome drink were excellent. A comfortable and convenient choice!

Reception was friendly, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Each one has an outdoor seating spot, plus there’s shared seating in the courtyard. Breakfast was okay, with decent portions. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, though the showers were warm. Upstairs rooms get quite a bit of noise from the street and bars. Rooms on the ground floor are probably more sheltered. All in all, good value for money.

A very helpful, welcoming staff and a great central location. The room had good air conditioning, breakfast was good, and we got a welcome drink when we arrived. A full-length mirror in the room would have been nice, but for what we paid, I can’t complain about the value.

The hotel was safe and the staff were kind. It had basic facilities, including a coffee machine. It rained heavily during my time in La Fortuna, which made me a little uncomfortable, though I think that was just because there was so much rain. I’d bring a raincoat, waterproof clothes, and another pair of shoes. The hotel also runs a steak restaurant across the street, where guests with breakfast included can eat in the morning.
