La Casona

Cesar was really helpful with restaurant tips, and every place we tried was delicious. I enjoyed my meals. The pool was great, and the apartment had all the amenities I needed, with a comfortable bed and a clean, nice room. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt safe, set close to the main road but far enough away that it was a 3-5 min walk.

We stayed in a first floor, two bedroom apartment, and everything felt like new. The rooms were impeccable, the pool was clean, and the gated outdoor yard felt safe. I’ve been in CR for three months, and this was the first place with rooms this spotless. There weren’t any creepy critters in our apartment. If bugs really bother you, CR may not be for you, but it was nice to get a break from bites. We enjoyed our stay and our four days of memorable tours with Nomada. John arranged them and kept in touch throughout. If you run into any issues, talk to John, he’s on top of it. The apartment staff were awesome. Thanks to everyone at La Casona Hummingbird for a great stay.

John, thank you for everything. I’ll definitely come back. The entrance was easy to find, and the instructions were simple and clear. There’s plenty of private parking, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and have comfortable beds. Everything felt clean and new.

The owner was wonderful to communicate with and very kind and flexible when flight problems forced us to change our itinerary several times. Everything worked perfectly, and it’s clear the place is cared for. The little pool was adorable and just the right temperature. There’s parking, and downtown is within walking distance. We plan to return to La Fortuna and will definitely stay here again.
