We stayed two nights. It's a basic place, but clean, and the owner is very friendly. He drew on his hotel industry experience to start this hotel with his brothers. The decor is unusual and interesting. It's still a work in progress, but it does the job.

Simple but had what I needed as a backpacker: a shower, a comfortable bed, and great Wi-Fi. The place was clean and quiet, and everyone was super friendly. I felt welcome right away, and bringing my dog was no problem. Everything worked out perfectly.

Julio went out of his way to help me through some difficulties, and I really appreciate it. JJJ was the highlight of my last three days in Liberia before heading home. I'd highly recommend staying here. Julio is a wonderful example of customer service, and I'll be back. Thanks for everything.

We spent eight nights at JJJ, and I'll remember the experience for a long time. Jolio and the staff were caring, kind, hospitable, and helpful, and the price was very affordable. He kept telling us he'd take care of anything we needed, and he did. He also spoke both languages and even drove us around to different places. If you want to experience Costa Rican culture in the heart of the city, I highly recommend Hotel JJJ. Thank you, JJJ! Pura Vida!

I spent New Year's Eve here and got invited to a Tico New Year's party at the hotel. Julio and his family welcomed me with sangria, arroz con pollo, and BBQ. I spent the evening chatting with them. It was a great way to ring in the New Year, and I couldn't have imagined a nicer one.
