Sueño Pacífico

The pool looked dirty, so we didn't use it, though it would be gorgeous if it were cleaned. Getting here was tricky as we drove uphill, and we had to ask some foreigners for help. They didn't seem to speak English. The young girl could manage English pretty well, but things still didn't get done. The shutters had about an inch of space underneath, letting everything in. We asked twice what to do, and they just stuffed towels in the gap. I didn't like the shower either, it splashed water all over the bathroom, and the floors were pretty rough. To speak with anyone, you have to walk past the dogs and stand there calling hola, since they seem to live there. I don't know. I wouldn't stay again.

We loved the resident scarlet macaw and spent hours enjoying the pool. The hosts were delightful, the view was unreal, and the rooms were beautifully appointed. Absolutely amazing experience.

Carara National Park and Herradura Beach were places we enjoyed visiting, and the location worked well for exploring the region. We also spotted several Aras nearby. The hotel has a cozy feel, with beautiful nature all around and a great ocean view. We really liked the pool area too. The room was okay, but didn't fully meet our expectations: the furniture and kitchen equipment were basic, and insects could get in at night through the wide gaps around the door.

The rooms are big, the manager was very kind, and the views are amazing. There isn't a sign, so you'll need to follow your Google map :)
