I only stopped to ask for directions, and they were very helpful. The food and drinks were good too. Johana is the best bartender in Costa Rica!

I stayed here alone in March 2021, when the hotel was quiet, and the place was still friendly and clean. It’s just a short walk or drive from the ocean. I’d realized there wasn’t anywhere nearby to get food, so their pizza was a wonderful surprise when I was hungry. It must have weighed three or four pounds and was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The Imperial was cold, and the pool and common areas were very clean.

The food was good and you got plenty for the money. There’s a TV if you want to watch a game, and the pool table and other entertainment were great. The group I was with felt a bit awkward, but playing pool helped break the ice.

There’s plenty to see and do if you’re into nature, and the beach break handles a lot of swell and gets super hollow. The hotel was comfortable, safe and secure, with really good food and service. Joe and his employees went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Super place.

The price was lower than I expected, and it was definitely worth it. The property is beautiful, with a huge room, a massive king bed, kitchenette, balcony, big bathroom, cable TV, a lovely pool, and a restaurant on site.
