The area around the place was really peaceful, and Ronald, the very friendly groundskeeper, showed us around the lovely gardens. We had a nice chat with him too. It’s a great overnight stop if you’re on your way somewhere. Just make sure you get a 4x4 to reach it. Saludos Ronald desde la República Checa!

Getting up the steep road is worth it. The owners are a friendly couple, and they made me feel at home. They’re happy for you to use their kitchen, so I never felt like I was getting in the way. My room downstairs was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view from the patio right outside.

Good restaurants are only a 10-minute drive away, and we’d happily return. Our big room and bed in the main villa were comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and homey. The family hosts were so welcoming. In the morning, we looked out over the garden, flowers, hummingbirds, and the valley. A 4x4 is strongly recommended for the steep final stretch up at the edge of the village. Well worth the time and money.

The host was kind and easy to accommodate us, and I wished I’d chosen this place for my whole stay. From the bed, the roomy rooms look out over the valley and have flyscreens. I spent hours in the hammock watching hawks and butterflies moving around the garden.

The vibe was relaxed and comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and cooked really well. Luis gave excellent service. The little cabins are just right, with an amazing view out across the valleys.
