Marala Hotel

The infinity pool has a fantastic view, and the music stayed at a comfortable volume. The pool and restaurant close at 10pm. We spent two nights at Marala midway through our nine-day trip around Costa Rica, hoping to relax, and it was just right for that. The amenities were great, and the staff were attentive and helpful. It’s secluded but easy to get to. You can hear some road noise, though it didn’t take away from our stay.

Monkeys right outside our window were a fun surprise, and the room was clean with great A/C. The views from the pool and restaurant were incredible, and the service was impeccable. Tina, the hotel manager, was so friendly and helpful. Bryan, Jefferson, Ary, and the rest of the staff made our stay everything we could have asked for. Thank you all so much! Marala was a wonderful start to our honeymoon, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had ten marvelous days at Marala. The front rooms have a lovely view, though they’re a little too close to the Pacific road. The bungalows are nice and quieter. Rooms are well equipped, the welcome was warm, and service was very nice. The kitchen was fantastic and everything was tasty. There were two parrots.

The infinity pool view is spectacular, and the restaurant was amazing at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food looked as good as it tasted. Our clean, comfortable room was in a beautiful boutique hotel above the road, with an amazing ocean view. Alfonso, the manager, was friendly and genuine, and really wanted to make our stay special. The staff were always around and ready to help. We’d definitely stay here again!
