The people are so lovely and make you feel at home. You can wake to monkeys and birds singing, have lunch at the restaurant, head to the beach or beaches nearby, then come back for a dip in the pool or jacuzzi. It’s relaxing, the restaurant is nice, and there are several other beaches only a short drive away. Really recommended!

The villas and pool area are pretty. We stayed in villas Tamarindo and Conchal, each of which accommodates six people, but both needed proper cleaning. We found a roach by the dishes, the bedspreads were stained and didn’t smell fresh, and there was no hot water in the bathrooms. The back patio was dirty, with bat droppings all over. There were animal droppings around the pool too, and it took two days for them to clean them up. We wouldn’t recommend staying here unless changes are made.

The staff were super kind and humble, and the place is nice. The reason I gave it three stars is that there was no hot water and the mattress was worn out enough that I could feel the springs.

The hotel has a nice restaurant and swimming pool. I love this place, just a few blocks from the beach in a fairly nice neighborhood.
