The staff were really kind and tried hard to help us with what we needed. Still, our room needed repairs, and the older hotel could use some updating. The sink was loose and leaked. They tried to fix it, but the repair didn't hold. The shower was clogged and drained poorly. There were ants and a large spider, though the hotel provided bug spray. The windows wouldn't lock, and there was no safe. The beds were old and hard, but the pillows were comfortable.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating, and both the restaurant and bar were really nice. But on my first night, my roommate found a tarantula under his pillow. There were also dead crabs and cockroaches under the bed and in the dresser.

We only stopped in for lunch and drinks, but they let us use the pool too, which was a great little find. The food was fresh, plentiful, and good value. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel looked after our school group well. They kept checking everyone's dietary restrictions and put us first. We had nice rooms, a great pool, and good service. It was a great trip.

We didn't stay overnight, but we came back several times while we were in Carrillo for the fantastic food, drinks, and a swim. We enjoyed it so much that we kept returning.
