The hotel is a good distance from town, about a half-hour walk, so taxis are useful. The front desk could call one quickly, so getting around wasn't really a problem. We had a great time. The staff were accommodating and put up with all my nonsense requests, joking aside. Big thanks to Gustavo and Markos (hope I spelled that right) for helping with bags, taxis, and local tips. You were great at the front desk. I didn't catch the name of the woman working near the bar, but thanks for helping with our odd requests and making sure my friend's meal was right. The kitchen staff, whose names I also missed, made good food and helped with my personal request. And thanks to the room cleaners, we always came back to fresh towels and a clean room. I'll definitely return one day. Pura vida!

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the rooms felt secure. We really liked the views, and both the breakfast and drinks were delicious.

It's a charming spot to relax and rest, though a little way from the center. The room was spacious, clean, and had a view. There's a pleasant pool, welcoming staff, and a generous breakfast. Every dish we had at dinner was really tasty.

Crystal at the front desk was kind, apologetic, and accommodating, and the hotel staff were great. I had a rougher time with the rooms. In the first one, the hot water pressure was poor and the water came out brown, though it eventually cleared. They moved me to another room, where there was dirt along the head of the bed and a couple of bugs. Birds nesting on the roof also got pretty noisy at night.

The standout for us was Fabian Castro. He was our server and made every meal feel taken care of, from thoughtful dish suggestions to checking all the little details. His kindness and attention made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself is peaceful and has a lovely view. It’s a beautiful place to get away, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.
