We had such a luxurious week at Christmas with my partner. The bed was super comfortable and we slept amazingly. The shower had really hot water and good pressure, which feels like a luxury when traveling outside my home country. Everything was impressively clean, and the room was very nicely done. We arrived without plans, but Liz and the rest of the staff were warm, attentive, and full of ideas for things to do around town. The bar drinks were delicious. It might look like a 'locals bar', but the cocktails were made to a high end cocktail bar standard for taste and quality. Rapha was also super friendly, and the man can cook! The portions were good and full of flavor. I only wish I'd ordered more so I could try more of the menu. Liz made booking the tours easy, and the pickups were right outside, so we just had to be ready. We took a small group tour to a coffee bean factory, volcano, and rainforest waterfall. It was incredible, and the group was comfortable and small, with a well educated staff. I can't wait to return.
