After a very late flight to San Jose, my husband, small children, and I booked this at the last minute. The staff were very kind, and breakfast was good, but the rooms weren't especially clean. This is NOT a family hotel: there were sex workers outside and in the lobby/casino, and my 9 year old found a hotel-branded sex toy catalogue in our room.

I've visited twice, and both stays were great. I left my valuables in the safe and only realized it after reaching Quepos. The staff dealt with everything, including the cash, honestly and responsibly. It says a lot about them. The restaurant was great, the food excellent, and Melissa gave wonderful service as my waitress. I look forward to coming back soon. Thank you.

The place runs 24/7, which worked perfectly for us. Everyone was welcoming and extremely accommodating, and the downtown location put just about anything we needed within walking distance. I'll be back in 3-4 months and will stay here every time. See you soon.

Between the bars, food, casino, poker room, and all the women, it's easy to have a great time here. It's a good spot for catching a taste of San Jose nightlife in one place. Just use common sense when buying drinks at the bar: don't leave a tab open, or you might end up buying drinks for women working the room or even a bartender. And don't be afraid to say “no” if a beautiful woman asks you for a drink.

The rooms were big, and the hotel had a lively atmosphere. My problem was receptionist Monica Bonita. She was incredibly rude, especially first thing in the morning. Even after she realized she'd made a mistake, there was no apology. She just kept up the terrible attitude.
