We woke to a breathtaking valley view and had breakfast with toucans singing nearby. The rooms were clean, nice, and comfortable, and there’s a jacuzzi for unwinding under the stars after sunset. If you’re lucky, you might even see a tattoo passing by! A magical stay thanks to the host and her family. Thank you again.
We only spent one night here, but I fell in love with the place. The house is beautiful, with a pool set among scenic jungle, and the whole family makes you feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and local bars and restaurants are an easy walk away. The Google Maps pin is accurate. There’s a fairly steep incline on the track just after the main road, but we managed it easily in an old, slightly feeble Toyota Yaris. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area, or looking to break up a drive toward the Atlantic coast.
A pleasant house in a nice, spacious, quiet setting. The main drawback is how far it is from the town centre, about 8 km. If you need to go anywhere, you need a taxi. Without one, there’s no chance.
The manager was very friendly and helpful, and the pool was lovely and very clean. The cabin, though, needed cleaning: there were several cobwebs, quite a few insects inside, and multiple stains on the towels. The accommodation is in a beautiful mountain setting with views of Turrialba.
Surrounded by nature, this is a lovely place to relax, with a beautiful view of the Turrialba area. Our clean, tidy apartment was right in front of the pool and had cooking equipment, a large bed, and hot water. The owners were friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely return. 100% recommended.
