For the price, this was absolutely perfect. It's right across from the beach and close to downtown Tamarindo's activities and local experiences. The room is no-frills, but there's private off-street parking, a communal kitchen, a cute garden, good Wi-Fi, massive iguanas, howler monkeys, and free-range chickens. Get breakfast around the corner. I recommend the meadow muffin.

A nice little hostel, with simple rooms and no fancy extras. It's a lot cheaper than many other hotels in this expensive area, and the location is great, just a few steps from the beach. The hot water wasn't there as promised, though that's OK since it's hot outside. The TV is tiny, and the signal barely comes through.

The garden is full of flowers and trees, with plenty of places to sit outside, and the hotel is just a few feet from the sand and a great surf spot, right next to Iguana surf. It’s also close to a supermarket, restaurants, and surf schools. Aida at reception was efficient and helpful, and let me check in right away. The bed was clean and comfortable, with two pillows. The bathroom was clean, with soap provided, though I only had one towel. There’s a TV and a fridge, and the kitchen has everything you might need. The gardener was very nice, and Chango is nice too. Jose is funny, and all the housekeeping staff, including Griselda and Jose Adan, are very nice. I had a very enjoyable stay. It offers everything for a comfy vacation!
