The little bungalows sit in a lovely, peaceful garden around a pool, and the hosts are so welcoming. There are four friendly dogs about, and you’ll likely spot howler monkeys too. Restaurants are a five-minute walk away and the beach is about twelve minutes on foot. The AC works well, the kitchen has what you need for basic cooking, and the fridge even has a working ice maker.

Doris and Johnny are such accommodating, lovely hosts, and the villas are clean, roomy, and comfortable. The property is wonderfully peaceful, just minutes from the beach. A real little gem in Avellanas.

We planned to try Las Melinas Eco Villas for a month, but ended up staying for two because we loved it so much. The garden is lush and shady, thanks to Doris’s love of planting, and the quiet property is within walking distance of the beach. Our villa had plenty of space, good AC, and a well-equipped kitchen, and the pool was excellent, with Johnny keeping it in good shape. We had lots of questions, and Doris always explained things clearly and helped us find useful contacts. One fisherman even brought us fresh fish every week. Leaving felt like leaving home. Highly recommend.

The pool was a favorite for our family, and the deck beside our cabana let us relax while keeping an eye on the kids. Our house was just right for four, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and welcome AC at night. Doris and Johnny were wonderful hosts. Doris replied quickly, and they had great local suggestions. The photos don’t quite capture this little oasis. We had a wonderful stay that exceeded what we expected, and we’d stay with them again if we return to the area.

We stayed a month at ecovillas last Melina’s with our family and had a great time. The location worked really well for us, the units were clean, and the pool was just right for cooling off. Doris and Johnny were fantastic and helped with whatever we needed. We’d love to come back 😀
