La Ramona Charming Hotel

The hotel is an easy walk from Tamarindo's main street, and the WiFi worked really well. We spent two nights here and the staff were great about helping us manage two separate reservations. The rooms are comfortable overall, though the outlets and amenities could use an update.

We loved the peaceful neighborhood just outside the busy part of Tamarindo, and the room had a fantastic, huge bathroom. When our flight was canceled, the owners let us stay a few extra hours so we could use the WiFi and sit by the pool while waiting for the airline to send a new itinerary. They were so warm and welcoming. Be sure to say hello to La Ramona cat Nina while you're there! My fiancé and I stayed five nights and would absolutely recommend it.

The manager and staff were so kind, and breakfast was really good. It only took a few minutes to walk to the center, but the place was far enough away that we didn't hear road noise at night. The roomy, cute space had a Greek-style feel to it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

I felt like part of the family here, and the place was cozy and quiet. The bed and linens were lovely, and the large bathroom in my brand new room was great. I also got beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Breakfast was cooked fresh in the morning, with choices, and kept me going for about half the day. There's even a small air-conditioned gym. It was my first time in Costa Rica, and this was easily my favorite hotel in Tamarindo. I'll definitely come back.
