The villa worked perfectly for my mom and me. We loved the rustic view and listening to the insects and animals, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. Isabella's kind, attentive spirit is a big reason I'll keep coming back. She made us comfortable, brought us coffee and oil, helped with Covid testing and reservations, and pointed us toward great places to eat. The price felt more than fair. A couple of practical notes, rent an SUV and get Waze for directions.

The area is beautiful, the accommodation was fantastic, and our host was so friendly. Getting there might go more smoothly with a 4WD, but the stay itself was hard to beat.

Avellanas is peaceful enough to spend the whole day at the beach, which is one of the most beautiful in the country. It doesn't have much modern tourist infrastructure, but the gravel road is easy to drive on and the spot is accessible by car.
