Ocean Melody 2

The apartment looks great, the private pool is cool, and the facilities are generally good. We enjoyed being there during the day, but got no sleep at all. There were a million mosquitoes, and at night the AC shines like the sun and keeps you awake. Without it, though, it feels like an oven.

The private pool and hammock are the real highlights, with the house tucked into lush greenery and surrounded by the sounds of birds and other animals. It's a lovely way to immerse yourself in nature. Ocean Melody 2 is charming and has everything you'd need, while still being conveniently close to Uvita town. Massi was super responsive and hospitable. We stayed a few days, and this was one of the best Airbnbs I've ever experienced.

We stayed at Ocean Melody 4 in November 2023, and although a family medical issue made me miss the AirBNB review window, I still wanted to share how good the stay was. Massi communicated really well and provided helpful directions. The clean unit had everything we needed, and it's well placed for visiting the Whale's Tail, just a quick walk up the road. Restaurants, a small grocery, and souvenir shops are also within walking distance. We felt very safe, and it was helpful to have a fenced yard with room to park. The private pool was PERFECT, and we used it every day. The landscaping was beautiful too, and there was even a hummingbird nest with an egg in the yard. Thanks, Massi, for helping make it a great trip.

A late review of my first visit, March 9-12 of 2023, before heading off to Ojochal. It was an amazing first trip out of the country. The rental was small but perfect for two adults, with the basic essentials, and it was clean and comfortable. The property was beautiful inside and out, from the natural landscape to the pool and location. My daughter and I felt safe, and the bed was comfortable. We rented a nice-sized SUV and had no trouble parking in the gated area. Beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, and more are close by. Some are walkable and others need a drive, but they're only a few minutes away. I can't wait to return. It was such a memorable, awesome experience that I'll never forget. Getting up early was a must, the jungle comes alive. The natural sounds and beauty are almost impossible to describe. Experiencing it every day would be heaven.
