Wilmer was friendly and helped us make the most of our days. The food was great, and the house was very clean. I loved the view from the terrace, and the location was really convenient. It’s a lovely little colonial casa in central Havana, and I really enjoyed my stay. I’d absolutely recommend it.
The room was quiet thanks to the soundproofing, and the air-conditioning was quiet too. There’s a roof terrace with a breathtaking view toward the Capitolio, and breakfast was nice. Wilmer is a knowledgeable, welcoming host who gives good advice and even helps arrange travel. Recommended for a Havana visit.
I mostly had breakfast and dinner at Wilmer’s place because his cooking was so good. The room and bathroom were very clean, and everything worked well. The house is in centro Habana, outside the old town but not too far. I often walked there and back, though the bus or a taxi are options too. I stayed several times in January 2017, and Wilmer was always friendly and helpful. I recommend Casa Wilmer.
Wilmer and his family were lovely and welcoming, and we enjoyed some interesting conversations with them. The house is cozy, authentic, and well placed for seeing the city. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, the best food I had in Cuba. I’d definitely recommend his casa for a pleasant, authentic stay.
I got to know Wilmer in Guardalavaca, where he ran a small casa almost right on the beach. He was kind and friendly, we had great conversations, and the food was always tasty. I can really recommend staying at his casa in Habana too. Enjoy your time :)
