The breakfast buffet was very good, and after a rough start we quickly got a quiet room. We'd booked a balcony room, but the balcony door made it impossible to cool down, and mold was dripping over the bathroom door. They moved us to another room within minutes.

We had dinner and drinks here and loved the time we spent chatting with the bartender. It was one of the best meals we had in Cuba, with wonderful food, great drinks, and amazing architecture. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was also the only place we'd been in Cuba with satellite TV, so we got to watch a little baseball.

The bed was uncomfortable and wrapped in plastic, and the room was so noisy from street traffic that we couldn't sleep well. The bathroom had no running water, breakfast was the worst we've ever had, and service was awful. Staff weren't helpful or accommodating. Terrible hotel, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'd give zero stars if I could. Stay away.

The bed head wasn't properly attached to the wall and fell on me. The beds were mouldy, hot water came and went, and the rooms were dirty. Street noise continued past 2 am, and the staff were unfriendly. Awful hotel, wouldn't recommend it.
