10/10
For the price, this is a nice place, especially compared with one of the neighboring options. The cocktails were quite good, though they could use less sugar and a wider choice of juices for different flavors. It was packed with Russians, and when they were drunk it got a bit noisy. Over a few days, I also saw plenty of them cut in line or push ahead of people waiting for the elevator or bar. That can happen in lots of places, but it happened often here.

I had a pleasant three-day stay in May 2019. The facilities and surroundings were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I was in Havana and Vaaradero as part of a seven-day package tour.

The place was being refurbished during our stay. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, and many spoke English well.
