Casa Beny and Roberto

We had a wonderful four nights at this spotless, welcoming Casa, from March 19th to 23rd. Chef Alexi and his team served delicious food with lovely presentation, and our hosts took care of all the arrangements we needed. We’d gladly recommend Beny y Roberto Hostal if you visit Santa Clara. ¡Gracias por todo! One small suggestion: it would be nice if places like this accepted credit cards.

I felt like part of the family right away. We had a large room with two beds and a shower bathroom, and it cost around 25/30 per night for two people, though I can't remember the exact price. There’s a peaceful garden area with lots of plants where you can sit and read, and even wifi in bed. They can arrange a collectivo or help find somewhere to stay in your next city. I arrived feeling really sick, and they offered to get a doctor. They took such good care of me, bringing lots of tea and having their chef make fresh chicken soup. Thank you so much for being so kind and looking after me!

The rooms were a little smaller than at the other casas we stayed in, but they were comfortable and had air conditioning and a fridge with beer and water. We used Beny & Roberto Hostel as our base for Santa Clara and enjoyed a two-night stay. Jorge arranged a guide for us, which made exploring the sites extra special. Breakfasts were generous, and the home-cooked three-course dinner was beautifully prepared. Having the option of a bottle of wine made it feel like a treat. I’d definitely recommend it for exploring the city and having dinner in.

They made me feel like family. So much soul, and just a marvellous stay. The food they made was delicious, and they put me in touch with a really talented massage therapist. They were open and welcoming in general. Highly recommended.
