The owners live at the hostal and were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. We booked breakfast too, and it was tasty, healthy, and varied, much like the breakfasts at the other places we stayed. Despite being on a busy street, the hostal was quiet. Our room was clean, a decent size, and well equipped. Sights around town were easy to reach on foot, with several good restaurants nearby. We especially recommend the interesting, safe back roads to the Che Memorial.

Leoncio Vidal park, a National Monument downtown, is only a 3-4 minute walk away. The house has lovely colonial architecture, and the owners were professional and agreeable. It was a cozy, family-like place to stay, with comfortable rooms. Breakfast was excellent and very affordable, and having it there saved us time while exploring the city. I recommend it.

We weren't sure about stopping in Santa Clara, but I'm glad we stayed with the Rivalta family. We only had one night, and they welcomed us so warmly and pointed us toward the best places. They're a lovely family who'll help with whatever you need, and you get a feel for real Cuba. Highly recommend, and we hope to come back 😘

The room was really nice and the price reasonable. It's near the center of Santa Clara, and the owner was super friendly. She gave us all the information we needed for seeing the city and its historical sites. Great accommodation.
