Casa El Xique

Both the owner and his wife were very kind. Their English was a bit shaky, but communication was generally okay. The food was delicious, and the rooftop terrace made the stay comfortable. I stayed for two nights. There are two guest rooms, and although mine was small, it had a window that let in natural light. Of all the Casa Particulars I stayed in across Cuba, this was the only one with a window.

From the roof terrace there's a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the surrounding mountains. The place is in a quiet spot, but Plaza Mayor and the whole city center are only a few minutes' walk away. It was super clean, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. We barely speak any Spanish, and they barely speak any English.

We loved the rooftop terrace, the view from up there is amazing. The place is right in the heart of Trinidad and extremely clean, with rooms that have their own shower and toilet. The hosts are a kind, helpful couple, and the food was really delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone. ❤
