A rip-off. The owners seem to try to fool you in every way they can. The breakfast cost 14 Euro for one egg, awful bread, and the worst coffee I've ever had. There were water supply problems, too, and when anything went wrong they weren't helpful. I felt terrible there. Really a shame.
Breakfast for 7€ was almost nothing: a very thin egg omelet, dry toast, no jam, and no cold cuts. The coffee was an odd brown liquid, not something I'd call coffee. We planned to stay three days at 40€ a day, but on the first night the water suddenly stopped for us while the owners still had water. They seemed unbothered by having no water or working toilet after 7 pm. If you've had diarrhea in tropical heat, you can imagine what that was like. They didn't offer us a bucket to wash our hands or flush the toilet, so we'd have had to use the little drinking water we'd bought ourselves. Run, don't book!
The service was excellent, and everything was clean. We were treated so well. It was the best place I stayed in Cuba, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
