Iberostar Origin Tainos

We loved our vacation here. The resort quickly felt like home, and getting around was easy. There was plenty of variety in the food, with basics like eggs always available. We enjoyed everything from wine tasting to dance lessons. Duvet and Jenny, along with all the staff, were wonderful, always smiling and helpful.

The weather's been perfect, cool in the mornings and sunny and hot in the afternoon. Food was good, though the selection was a little limited, and the desserts were really yummy. Friendly, courteous staff have been helpful, especially Alex from social media, who got us a Valentine's Day reservation at Waco and arranged taxi service. Having a great time.

The resort is good value for the money, as long as you set expectations with Cuba in mind. We had a great beach with soft sand and warm water, plus a clean pool and tidy grounds. Staff were friendly, and the pool had a fun feel with music and plenty of activities. Live music was good several times during the week. The evening shows were decent, though rather repetitive.

The first room smelled and had mould on the sheets, so we moved to another one that was much better. The rooms could use a little more attention to cleanliness, but we wouldn't hesitate to return. With a bit more care in the rooms, this would be the best resort. The pool, beach, entertainment, service, and food were all excellent, and our experience overall was very good.
