The staff were wonderfully helpful and efficient, and I’d definitely return. We stayed in the newer cabins, which were roomy and had very comfortable beds. Meals were tasty, with hot and cold choices at every seating, and the buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner should suit a wide range of tastes. It’s a fantastic hotel in a beautiful spot.

We were a little unsure after reading reviews, but ended up loving the place, even more than the hotel in Havana. The room was simple but spacious, with working AC and really good hot water. Lovely staff, a bar with great value, an excellent breakfast, and an incredible view.

The views and setting are what make this hotel a must if you want to get away from it all. I stayed in one of the Cabins, which gave a bit more privacy than the hotel rooms; it was comfortable, and the staff were accommodating. There were power outages across the island when I visited in Nov 2024, though the hotel has a generator. We still lost power for some of the time, which is the only reason I’d rate the rooms 4 stars. Lounging by the pool above Viñales with a freshly made cocktail was just what I needed to unwind. I’m already planning to return :-)

Waking up to the valley spread out below you, with all that quiet around, is something I won't forget. We booked a junior suite and ended up wishing we could stay longer. The staff were warm and helpful, and there’s a lovely walk through the tobacco fields you can take with a local guide. There’s also a very good restaurant nearby. If you're visiting Cuba, spend a few nights here and take it slow.
