The rooms were super clean, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was great, breakfast included. That made this the best place to stay in Brava for us. A big thank you to Andy for making us feel so warmly welcomed :)

We reached Brava that evening by ferry, after our luggage had been left behind at Praia airport. There had been plenty of panic at Fogo Airport, since other travelers were missing bags too. At Hotel Cruz Grande in Nova Sintra, we arrived with only our phones and tablets, no chargers, and no toiletries. Even though it was late, the owner welcomed us and said he’d try to find what we needed. After serving us a meal, he came through with a charger and toiletries. Our room was large and had a good shower, and the kitchen team served good meals. Very happy to recommend this place to Brava visitors, and full marks for the customer service.
