The staff are doing their very best, and the service was great. We had excellent salads and great drinks too. Really nice restaurant, worth a visit! My four-star rating is for the restaurant. I didn't try the hotel.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt humiliated and unsafe after the manager shouted at me and laughed in front of other guests when I tried to sort things out. He wouldn't let me speak. Nobody apologized or offered compensation, so I paid my bill and left immediately. I'd booked two nights, then extended for seven more by email, confirmed on January 20. After my second night, I came back to find my belongings removed from the room and another guest checked in. Staff first said there was no booking and the hotel was full. I only got a room after showing the confirmation email. My things had been handled without my consent and packed carelessly, with damp laundry on top of electronics and dry clothes. Update: Management has access to the same email exchange I do. To clarify, an email sent January 20 at 10:36 GMT confirmed the new stay dates. This was never about money, and I didn't ask for a free night.

Room #4 felt like a little studio apartment, with comfortable bed, nice decor, and good a/c. Two fans on the walls helped keep the air moving and cool. It's a great place for a short or long staycation, with very friendly, helpful staff and great food. I highly recommend it!

We stayed at Prassa 3 at both the beginning and end of our trip to Cabo Verde. Getting there from the airport was easy, and we arranged a driver through the hotel. He was our first local contact, and he was polite, knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. The ride was around 12 euros. Our room was big, clean, and had everything we needed, plus a nice terrace facing the park. The most beautiful beach in Mindelo is very close; the art museum is just down the street, and there are restaurants, bars, and shops all around. The hotel staff were welcoming. It's also a restaurant and bar, and in the evenings locals and tourists gather there for concerts with live local music. We're happy with our stay ☺️

The location was great and breakfast was pretty good. The rest felt more like a hostel, but at a premium price. I'm not sure where the four stars come from.
