I went in July 2019 and stayed at the magnificent Riu Touareg. Boa Vista is a tropical, paradise-like island in Cape Verde off the West African coast, with white-sand beaches, sand dunes, and striking lunar volcanic desert scenery. Sea turtles are known to nest on the shore, and humpback whales migrate through the coastal waters. The people are so welcoming, it’s a must-see! 👍🏽
