Hotel Sobrado

The cook on the third day changed my opinion by making meat-free pasta for my sick girlfriend and arranging an exception so I could take it to our room, even though that's normally forbidden. That alone earns another star from me. Before that, special requests were met with a no, and some of the staff, though not all, didn't understand us and were rather unhelpful. It's not bad, but definitely not very good either. I'd give it two or maybe three stars, and calling it four is a joke. Weekend nights can be noisy, and the pool is basically a big bathtub. Still, who needs a pool when you've got the ocean?

The room was okay for the price, but the area around the hotel wasn't very nice, and the breakfast staff were really unfriendly.

I've stayed here twice and had a great time both times. The rooms are cute and very clean, and the service is great. They help with anything and take care of requests. The location is perfect if you want to avoid the noisy tourist boulevard, while still being within easy walking distance. The area felt really safe, even travelling solo as a woman.

Really good value for the price. The food was tasty, everything was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved it!
